{Survey}
From 2004-2023, the Social Science Research Center at Mississippi State University administered an annual cross-sectional web-based survey to a representative sample of university students at Mississippi State University, the University of Southern Mississippi, the University of Mississippi, and various junior colleges around the state. Note: The University Student Survey was not administered at the University of Southern Mississippi in 2013.
{Purpose}
Data from these surveys provide information on many key tobacco-related indicators, allowing Mississippi universities to measure progress toward state and national goals and objectives.
{Methods}
All respondents were 18 years of age or older and university students during the spring term. Due to COVID-19, the 2020 administration was split into the spring and fall terms.
